God Wants To Be Loved

TOPIC: How God Knows That We Love Him

FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE: John 14:23-24 (KJV)
23. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God knows we love Him when we keep His Word.

Whenever we truly love someone, our love is not just defined by what we say yes to, but also by what we say "No" to. Loving God is the same way. In fact, we love Him when we say "Yes" to keeping His Word as a lifestyle. If we don't keep His Word, He knows we don't love Him.

You see, loving God is not about feelings (that could change from day to day;) it's not about crying tears; it's not about emotions and what we intended to do, or what we wish we would have done. Neither is it about how different things would have been if the circumstances were different. Our love to God has nothing to do with any of those things. Jesus said, "if you love me keep my words. The person that doesn’t love me, doesn't keep my words." It's really that simple.

Everyday, we should say "Yes" to keeping God's Word.

1 John 2:1-5 (KJV) 1. My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2. And he is the propitiation (a substitute sacrifice) for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

Here's breaking news: We will never get a thought, a feeling, a dream, a vision or prophecy from God that violates His Word. Every thought, suggestion, or recommendation that violates His Word, is not coming from God.

We should judge everything we choose to think, say and do against the integrity of God's word. If it violates God's Word in any way, then no matter how we feel or who it is; whether it is family, friend or someone else we love, we shouldn't do it.

I decree that we will discover the grace that God has already given us to keep His Word, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him...

With your ongoing faithful support, we can reach the world and connect people to God through the Gospel.  Through your giving, we can also help more people through our outreaches as the hands and feet of Jesus sharing the love and hope found in Jesus Christ. Hurting people are transformed from the inside out as they learn what it means to live for God and be loved by Him.

You may give easily and securely using the Giving tab below on the app or the Give page on our website. May God bless you according to His promise in the scripture below.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Notice: Until you are born again (from above), you will never know the riches of God's love and tender mercy towards you. You must be born again to enjoy continuous victory in this world. Please say the displayed prayer below in faith:

Dear Lord, I come to You now, just as I am.  You know my life.  You know how I've lived.  Forgive me Lord.  I repent of my sins.  I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God,  that He died for my sins and on the third day,  He was raised from the dead.  Lord Jesus, I ask you to come into my heart.  Live Your life in me and through me from now on.  From this day forward, I belong to You, in the Name of Jesus, Amen."

The very moment you commit your life to Jesus Christ, the truth of His Word instantly comes to pass in your spirit. If you prayed that prayer and meant it from your heart, a miracle has just taken place in your life and there’s a brand-new you!  CONGRATULATIONS! Welcome to the Kingdom of God.

Please contact us and let us know that you’ve prayed to receive Jesus as your Savior.
